i learned alot from this book called "DEVELOPING your Prophetic gifting"... it teaches me that the gift is important.. but our spiritual life is more important. because without our spiritual life God can't use us..makes sence?... prayer is important for our own life.. i think many of us need to be, quick to listen and slow to speak.. so that we can get a clear direction from god... this is actually one of the thing i learned.. still got many more.. this book don't only teach about prophetic gifting.. but also tips on how to get our relationship with god better... this is really a good book!...

today was a little bit of shocking day... during lunch kelvin and I went out of sch for lunch at bk in expo because the school is over crowded(as usual). after eating we went to the food fair to take a look.. i felt like buying something to chew.. when i search for my wallet...... it's not in my pocket!!!!! by then kelvin and i were somewhere almost in the middle section somewhere in the hall... we hurried back there to bk.. while rushing in my heart i prayed "GOD!!!! let my wallet be there"... by somehow in my heart i knew i was very calm... not sure why.... inside got my IC.. about nearly $100 in cash, got my ez-link, got my X-zone arcarde card...and don't know what else.. REALLY REALLY REALLY thank god for it.. when we reached there the tray was not cleared yet.. and there were many ite student there, and it was like no one saw it and touch it..WOW!!!!... amazing....praise GOD!!

while waiting for kelvin to end my classmate and i were waiting outside his class.. then his friend came to see what he was doing(some cell group thing, he is from another church).. so after he sat down i asked him for his name.. he tolde me.. then i asked him if he has heard about jesus.. he said yes.. he was from boys-something. so i asked him what religion is he from.. he said he is a free thinker.. so i asked him if he believed in himself?... he said yes.. i asked again u don't believe in god?.. he answered.. no because i don't see god appearing infront of me....
so i started sharing my testi to him.. while sharing he seemed to be like interested.. i almost reached half of my sharing, then his friend came out of the class... i was like WHAT!!! u need to go now????... how do i find u?... he ask me to ask my classmate...
well was a good try.. and i'm going to tell him about jesus this week!!!!.....

just now as i was looking around at other people's blog.. some backslided and got BGR.. some end up in something else.. really wondering what is going on in their mind?.. some leaders backslided end up in bgr... i really want to ask this question"IS IT WORTH IT?" have u think of the long run?.. how long will the relationship last?.... what will u get at the end of the road? i really want to know what are they thinking?... has the world blind u from the meaning of true LOVE?...

don't get me wrong.. i'm not against bgr or want to get into it or anything. in fact bgr is GOOD!! but not when doing god's work(student ministry) or studying......
for me i think,the time is right when i'm stable in finance, spiritual walk,doing well in ministry, understanding more of god's love.. and i'm not sure what else.. but waiting for god's perfect timing is the best!! AMEN!??? so... someone tell me.. i know that for me is not worth or NEVER worth to leave god for something else... so people please think b4 u decide!!!

WOW!.. today... was a really great time for east B... all 6 of us... me, moses, kelvin, chen wei, si han and stanley.. today during cg.. i teach what is worship all about.. and after that we had a great time of worship!.. no guitar just pure MALE VOICE.... and we all sang in tune!! PRAISE GOD.. who says that guys can't sing..hahaha... but i'm really pround of my Cg... during worship.. we can see that everyone was united in worshiping..

just like the day of pentecost when the disciple came together in one place(only thing is we are not apostol or was there any signs and wonder but just children of god wanting more of his presence)... the key word is together... (read my last entry to know what i mean).... i really enjoyed today.. i really pray that every week... we will be drawn nearer to the cross and to each other... to grow together to experience god in a deeper way...to see new people coming to join us....

but really everytime when cg comes i will get neverous because i really don't know what will turn out... but god gave me his security.. and everything went well.. so leaders or leaders to be maybe u felt this way same as me.. or it may not be in leading cg but roles or leading other things.. always put your trust in god and never take control but let god do the work.. just be faithful in leading and preparing... night!

But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth(acts 1:8)

The Holy Spirit Comes at Pentecost
1 When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place. 2 Suddenly a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting.3 They saw what seemed to be tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them. 4 All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them(acts 2:1-4)

i am just so so so excited when i read about how the holy spirit came... the disciple saw what seemed to be tounges of fire!.. i wonder how it look like...

for a moment i thought.. our caregroup can be like the day of pentecost itself.. the holy spirit can pour his presence on us.. but the problem is... we need to be united.. because in verse 1 it say that "they were all together in one place"... second we need to desire,obey and wait for the out pouring of the holy spirit. check it out in acts 1:4-5

he gave them this command: "Do not leave Jerusalem, but wait for the gift my Father promised, which you have heard me speak about. For John baptized with water,but in a few days you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit."

the disciples obeyed jesus and stayed in jerusalem.. they went to a place, prayed and wait for the holy spirit.. and there! the holy spirit pour out his presence. but how to know that the disciples desire the holy spirit.. well we can see from their actions by obeying jesus that's all.

so our caregroup can spirit filled if we are united, desire for the pouring of the spirit and we will be really powerful man and women of god.. and also we need to focus on god and his mission for us... even it can happen in our daily life.... i can imagine just how powerful we will be when we are working together with the spirit... that's all folks.. good night...

today it seem like it's going to rain the whole day, but was wrong about it, god bless with GREAT cooling weather, THANK YOU GOD. it was realy a fun day playing basketball... although not many came...

guess what, 3 of our di team all guys, lost to a 3 girl team... we lost 3 matches!!... and they are girls!!.. but my team got a close fight.. nearly won them.. anyway.. we are just playing for fun.. they are school team trained in SRJC grads...

yesterday service was great.. during worship i was so lost in the presence of god.. WOW!!.. really great.. after service my cg went to far east plaza for dinner.. nice food but a little X... after that we all went to get the turkish ice cream.. at first we didn't want to play with that guy.. but thanks to kelvin he said:"he want to play with you." the first was stanley.. really really really funny then was me then was moses.. the ice cream was nice a bit blend made of goats milk.. and after eatting it was very heatY!!!!... but thank go nothing happen.. soonafter that we all went home...

i actually want to name it raindown.blogspot or something like that but it was taken.. so i took flooddown.blogspot.com...... when i think of it... rain can be normal rain heay or light, but FLOOD is a different thing agree?.. then when i look at the title of my blog"open-the-flood-gates-of-heave!".... well it linked.. not rain but FLOOD!!!.. i just want so much more until i can't contain it!

today went to watch DA VINCHI CODE with my cg people... a very long show... i don't find it interesting at all!!!!!... but the good thing is since i watched it i can relate with my friends who don't know christ yet... i find it dumb... i mean what is DAN BROWN believing in??? he got all his resources from no scholars or anyone but from normal book writer and some other old man...
Even the non believer scholar who heard him went against his theory... because there is NO PROOF that MARY MAGDALINE WAS MARRIED TO JESUS!!! there is NO PROOF THAT they had a CHILD!! totally L.A.M.E.......

anyway.. after watching that, the WHOLE EAST CAME to my house... for fun.. well i hope they had fun....when they all left.. i had to help my dad to move his bed to throw away.. while throwing god gave me a verse.. 2Timothy 3:16-17

"all scripture is GOD-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of god may be thoroughly equipped for every good work."

well this is true... i can remember when i read the bible it actually changed my life... and how god spoke to me... so many good stuff... I WANT MORE!!!!!!!!!!!!!.....

well i hope that whoever read that verse will be impact by it... i am just a messanger...
